SUMMARY:Ethics as a Lived Practice\, from Code to Conscious Choice
DESCRIPTION:Ethics in coaching is not something we think about only when something goes wrong. It is led by how we listen\, how we hold power\, how we relate to clients\, and how we make decisions when situations feel complex\, ambiguous\, or emotionally charged. Much of ethical practice unfolds quietly\, long before a clear dilemma ever presents itself. \nThis three-hour\, interactive ethics training invites coaches into a reflective and experiential exploration of ethics as a lived practice. Rather than focusing on memorizing standards or analyzing extreme cases\, the session centers on the internal conditions that shape ethical judgment\, awareness\, discernment\, responsibility\, and integrity over time. \nParticipants will engage in guided reflection\, dialogue\, and inquiry drawn from real coaching contexts. Together\, we will explore how ethical challenges often arise subtly\, how personal values and professional commitments intersect\, and how coaches navigate moments where there is no single clear answer. The focus remains on cultivating ethical self-leadership and professional maturity\, supporting coaches in staying grounded\, present\, and accountable in their work. \nThe International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics is integrated throughout the session as a living framework that supports ethical decision-making in practice. Rather than treating the Code as a checklist\, participants are invited to experience it as a guide that reflects the lived realities of professional coaching. \nThis training is designed for coaches who value thoughtful practice\, ongoing development\, and the integrity of the coaching profession. It offers a spacious\, engaging environment for reflection and conversation\, supporting deeper awareness of how ethics is embodied across coaching relationships\, professional boundaries\, and evolving contexts in today’s coaching landscape. \n\n\n\nLearning Objectives:\nParticipants will leave with a deeper appreciation of ethics as a lived\, moment-to-moment practice that is shaped by awareness\, presence\, and professional responsibility. Rather than experiencing ethics as something external or reactive\, coaches will have reflected on how ethical practice is continuously formed through how they listen\, relate\, and choose in real coaching conversations.\nThey will develop greater clarity around how ethical challenges arise in everyday coaching work\, often in subtle and nuanced ways rather than obvious dilemmas. This includes increased awareness of relational dynamics such as power\, influence\, boundaries\, and attachment\, and how these dynamics inform ethical judgment over time.\nParticipants will strengthen their capacity for ethical discernment when situations feel complex\, ambiguous\, or emotionally charged. Through reflection and dialogue\, coaches will explore how to pause\, inquire\, and make conscious choices that align with professional standards and personal integrity\, especially when there is no single clear answer. \nCoaches will also deepen their relationship with the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics\, experiencing it as a practical and supportive framework for ethical decision-making rather than a checklist to follow. This supports a more confident\, grounded engagement with the Code in real coaching contexts. \nFinally\, participants will leave with a strengthened sense of ethical self-leadership and professional maturity\, supporting their ability to sustain trust\, accountability\, and integrity across coaching relationships and evolving professional environments. \n3.0 Core Competency CCEs \nSpeaker: \nJille Bartolome is a Master Certified Coach\, master mentor\, and coach educator with three decades of experience supporting the professional development of coaches at every stage of mastery. She is known for her ability to help coaches refine judgment\, deepen presence\, and navigate complexity with clarity and integrity. \nJille is the Founder and Training Director of CoachPath Academy\, where she delivers coach training at all three levels\, provides mentor coaching\, and ethics education. She has served on faculty for CoachU\, ADDCA\, and the University of Texas at Dallas Executive Coaching Program and has assessed thousands of coaching sessions across multiple programs and credential levels. \nAs an assessor for the International Coaching Federation in both their credentialling and accreditation departments\, Jille brings a seasoned perspective to ethical practice as something lived in real coaching conversations\, not simply interpreted from a document. Her work is grounded\, rigorous\, and deeply respectful of the profession and those committed to mastering it.

She will also share a practical\, research-backed tool designed to help clients identify and overcome Impostor Syndrome. Participants will have the opportunity to complete the assessment during the session to better understand the phenomenon in themselves and others. \nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN: \n\nRecognize the patterns and impact of Impostor Syndrome—in yourself and your clients—and understand how it shapes confidence\, performance\, and leadership growth.\nCreate a safe\, trusting coaching environment by skillfully responding to client vulnerability\, self-doubt\, and emotionally charged beliefs about competence.\nStrengthen your presence and active listening skills to uncover limiting beliefs\, internal narratives\, and themes that keep clients feeling “not enough.”\nUse a research-backed assessment tool to help clients build insight\, reframe their thinking\, and design confidence-building actions that foster sustained growth.\n\nSusan is an accomplished business owner\, executive coach\, workplace mediator\, and trainer who collaborates with a wide range of organizations across the United States\, Europe\, and Canada. Her extensive experience allows her to address the unique needs of diverse teams and industries\, helping them achieve their goals and improve workplace dynamics. \nIn addition to her role as CEO of Swan Consulting Group\, Susan contributes to higher education as adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University\, where she shares her expertise with students and professionals seeking to advance their knowledge and skills. SUMMARY:Agency Mindset: The Catalyst for Empowered Growth Post Trauma
DESCRIPTION:VIRTUAL ZOOM SESSION \nIn this interactive on-line workshop\, you’ll explore the link between agency and trauma\, including how the nervous system responds when we feel powerless and why this awareness is vital to sustainable growth. \n  \nAs coaches\, we know that mindset work can be transformative. But before we can guide clients toward growth\, we have to start with ourselves. At the root of every mindset—whether it’s growth\, money\, or a positive mindset—lies one essential truth: we always have a choice. This foundation is called the agency mindset. \n  \nThrough two experiential practices\, you’ll first discover your own agency: \n• Choice in Thought: A meditative practice to notice and accept your racing thoughts and choose which thoughts you engage with. • Choice in Action: A reflective exercise to revisit a moment when you felt stuck and uncover the choices that were hidden at the time. \nWe’ll close with a collaborative discussion on how these practices\, once experienced personally\, can enrich your coaching sessions and empower clients to reclaim their confidence\, make aligned decisions\, and open the door to other mindsets with greater ease. \n  \nYou’ll leave with renewed clarity\, practical tools for your own resilience\, and inspiration to adapt these approaches for your clients—building growth from a grounded foundation of agency. \n  \nSpeaker: \nAmanda Heck is a Trauma-Informed Whole Person Professional Certified Coach dedicated to helping high achievers move beyond chronic stress\, shift their internal “shoulds\,” and live with clarity\, confidence\, and choice. \nAmanda’s own journey of reclaiming agency began not with quick fixes\, but through deep listening to her inner wisdom\, releasing long-held shame\, and letting go of the expected path. SUMMARY:Mastering Client Conversion: Empowering Coaches to Transform Skeptics into Committed Clients
DESCRIPTION:Coaches know how transformative coaching is—but when it comes to selling\, even the best struggle to get potential clients to say “Yes!” The problem isn’t price or timing. It’s how you’re showing up in the sales conversation. In this talk\, Chris shares The I-Help Selling System\, a 5-step process for conducting sales calls that make potential clients feel seen\, heard\, and understood. Most coaches unintentionally create objections. That’s why they get ghosted or hear “I need to think about it.” Learn how to sell with confidence\, integrity\, and a “coach approach”—so the right clients say yes without hesitation. \nLearning outcomes: \n1. Master the “Coach Approach” to Sales Calls – Learn how to conduct sales conversations that make potential clients feel seen\, heard\, and understood\, leading to confident buying decisions. \n2. Identify and Eliminate Hidden Objection Triggers – Recognize how traditional sales tactics (and even well-intended coaching habits) create resistance and objections—and what to do instead. \n3. Prevent Ghosting and “I Need to Think About It” Responses – Understand the deeper reasons potential clients hesitate and gain a proven process for guiding them to a clear and confident yes. \n0.5 Core Competency + 1.0 Resource Development CCEs

Rather than isolating one area\, we integrate all aspects\, ensuring that growth in one supports growth in all. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore\, experiment\, and align with your values and authentic self—so you can thrive and contribute fully to the world as the person you were created to be. \nI draw from a range of disciplines—health and wellness\, personal development\, mindfulness\, and neuroscience—to provide tools and strategies that support lasting\, meaningful change. Each journey is unique\, but the goal remains the same: to support people as they define their own version of ‘better’—one that aligns with their values\, honors their whole self\, and feels both meaningful and sustainable. \nIf I could take a long\, thoughtful walk with anyone past or present\, Ralph Waldo Emerson would be high on my list. His words on success resonate deeply with me: \n“To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” \nThat is the heart of my work—helping others breathe easier\, live fuller\, and step into their most aligned\, vibrant selves. \n\nRSVP to let us know you’ll join us!\nPlease create separate reservation for each session.

SUMMARY:Why You Need To Niche (and why you don’t believe me!)
DESCRIPTION:Did you miss the first session?  No worries!! You can still benefit from this wisdom of this fascinating discussion.\n\nOur 2nd session will be focused on Feedback and Workshopping the your niche.\n\nWhen: Wednesday August 13th\, 2025 at 10:00 am – 11:30 am PST.\n\nWhen you sign up for the 2nd session\, you will receive:\n– A recording of the first session.\n– A .pdf of Sarah’s book and a worksheet to workshop your niche.\n\nThese two sessions are designed for qualified coaches who are still struggling to secure paying clients at a professional rate. Some of you may be new\, while others may have been around for a while and are perhaps associates who rely on referrals for their private clients.\n\n\n1st Session= The WHY:  Wednesday July 31\, 2025 at 10:00 – 11:30 am PST\n2nd Session= Feedback and Workshopping: Wednesday August 13th\, 2025 at 10:00 am – 11:30 am PST\n\n\nThe problem with referrals is that they are unpredictable and challenging to scale and you cannot build a viable business on hope.\n\n\n\nThis talk unpacks the real reason you are not getting inbound enquiries. It is not about your coaching ability\, it is not about your qualifications and it’s not about the market being too crowded. It’s because you’re trying to speak to everyone.\n\n\n\nWe start by naming the myths that hold coaches back from choosing a niche. You have probably heard them and you may believe them. “Niching is restrictive.” “There are no good niches left.” “It will make me sound like every other coach.” These beliefs feel rational\, but they are precisely what keep you invisible. We will break down where they come from\, why they persist\, and why they are wrong.\n\n\n\nNext\, we reframe what a niche is.\n\n\n\nA niche is not a box you squeeze yourself into\, it’s a signal that cuts through the noise. I’ll show how niche clarity makes it easier to find your audience\, understand their problems\, and write in a way that makes them think\, “that’s me!”\n\n\n\nThroughout the session\, you will hear real stories about coaches who resisted choosing a niche\, and when they realized the difference it makes\, they saw their businesses transform. These are not overnight success stories or slick marketing case studies. These are examples from coaches who were exactly where you are now\, who made the leap and started generating consistent\, professional-fee clients.\n\n\n\nWe then move into practical steps.\n\n\nYou will learn how to approach niche selection in a strategic\, rather than emotional\, manner. We look at how your background\, knowledge\, and understanding of specific sectors can give you insight into the language\, needs\, and problems of a target audience. That insight is your marketing superpower.\n\n\n\nFinally\, we look at what happens next. Once you define a niche\, your visibility improves. Your marketing starts to resonate. You are no longer pushing coaching on people who do not understand it. You are showing up in the right places\, with the right message\, for people who are already looking for help.\n\n\n\nAt the end of Session One\, I’ll give you some homework to apply what you’ve learned.\n\n\n\nIn Session Two\, we’ll look at the niches and ‘ideal clients’ you have chosen\, and I’ll give feedback to help you gain clarity and insight into the skill of professional client acquisition.\n\n\n\nThese sessions are not lightweight conversations because this is a business-critical topic. If you want clients to come to you\, you need a clear message. To get a clear message\, you need to know who you are speaking to. You will leave this session with clarity\, direction\, and a much stronger sense of what it takes to become a coach who is visible\, relevant\, and in demand.\n\n\n\n\nCCE Units: Not available if only attending the second session.\n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio:\n Sarah Short started The Coaching Revolution in 2017. She is passionate about the transformational power of coaching and was aware of the high rates of failure in coaching businesses\, which led her to want to take action. Sarah and her team of mentors teach qualified (credentialed) coaches comfortable\, effective and ethical client acquisition skills so that they can earn their living from coaching. All the programmes are ICF-accredited. Sarah is the author of 3 best-selling books\, and her book A Coaching Business In A Book has been shortlisted for the British Business Book Awards 2025.
