SUMMARY:Agreements + Presence - Deepening Partnership
DESCRIPTION:This presentation explores two coaching capacities that shape the quality of the entire conversation: Agreement Setting and Presence. And\, how these elements of coaching increase partnering in a coaching conversation. We will look at how a clear\, co-created agreement helps both the coach and the thinker get oriented to what matters\, why it matters\, and what would make the conversation useful. From there\, we will explore presence\, as the coach’s ability to stay grounded\, curious\, responsive\, and connected to the thinker. Along the way\, we will touch on bias\, cognitive load\, self-regulation\, and co-regulation\, and why these matter if we want coaching to support the thinker to do the work of creating the dots\, connecting the dots\, and owning the dots. \nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN:\n● How a strong agreement gives the conversation direction.\n● How presence helps the coach stay in real partnership.\n● And\, why insight is stronger when the thinker does the work. \nSPEAKER BIO:\nLyssa deHart is a Master Certified Coach\, clinical social worker\, and author who loves exploring how stories shape who we become. A self-described “recovering therapist\,” she brings a mix of neuroscience\, metaphor\, and deep listening to her work with leaders and coaches around the world. SUMMARY:Your Superpowers: Unleashing Strengths for Personal Growth and Team Innovation
DESCRIPTION:PRESENTER NAME: Amy A. Kessler\nCCE BREAKDOWN: 0.75 CC\, 0.25 RD \nHOST CHAPTER: North Florida Chapter\nHOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Amanda Connelly \nDESCRIPTION: \n\nConsider how contact lenses help us see the world more clearly. Our combination of talent strengths is like those lenses altering how we see the world around us. These talents tend to come so naturally that we don’t think about it; they are automatic. At our best\, we are energized and fulfilled. At our worst\, we are depleted and de-energized. \n\n\nBut it’s not enough to know our strengths. We must value our contributions and what others can count on us for. It’s important to understand what conditions\, through relationships and tasks\, our strengths need to thrive. As leaders\, we must also be aware of the strengths of those we lead and collaborate with. Rooted in positive psychology and neuroscience\, this knowledge helps us to bring out the best in ourselves and others\, maximize productivity and innovation\, and foster well-being. \n\nLearning Objectives\n• Introduce a preliminary understanding of your Top 5 strengths’ role in the unique value each of us brings.\n• Raise self-awareness\, and “other awareness\,” by focusing on what’s right\, rather than fixating on what’s wrong.\n\n• How overuse (or underuse) of our top strengths leads to our biggest weaknesses. \nSPEAKER BIO:\nAmy A. Kessler is in her element when she’s connecting with people\, telling stories\, and sharing fascinating insights. She has a natural gift for making others feel engaged\, appreciated\, and entertained all at once. Her passion for creating a sense of belonging stems from her deep belief in the power of CliftonStrengths\, which highlights the unique contributions we each bring to our teams\, clients\, and those we lead. For Kessler\, no challenge is too great—there’s always a way forward\, and she’s ready to find it.\n\nWith over three decades of experience in the corporate world\, Kessler’s been captivated by what makes people not just successful leaders\, but truly fulfilled in life. She spent the early part of her career in advertising\, helping major brands like Gatorade and Miller Brewing Company connect with U.S. Hispanic audiences. Along the way\, she earned two coaching certifications— Certified People Acuity Guide and Strengths Strategy Certified Specialist—and has made it her mission to help others discover the ease and immense value of working with a top-notch executive coach. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma\, she’s a firm believer in the lifelong power of learning and growth. \n\n\nRecognizing the need for a single\, reliable source of vetted top-tier coaches who share a unified approach\, Kessler founded Potentia Coaches. Busy leaders turn to her when they need to be paired with the ideal coach—someone who can guide them or their teams to success. Potentia offers a global cadre of strengths-based executive coaches\, eliminating the headache of trying to find the perfect fit. Amy doesn’t just make the connection; she ensures the coaching relationship is fruitful and enriching. “Potentia\,” rooted in Latin\, speaks to potential\, strength\, and power—the key ingredients\, in Kessler’s view\, for fulfillment both at work and in life. \n\nWebsite: www.potentiacoaches.com\nLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/potentia-coaches/\n\nEmail: amy.kessler@potentiacoaches.com \nNOTE: After your Ticket purchase\, you will receive a link to sign up for the Zoom meeting.

SUMMARY:Partnering with AI: Practical Use of AI for Coaching Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Partnering with AI: Practical Use of AI for Coaching Professionals is a dynamic\, hands-on session for coaches who want to use AI with confidence—without compromising ethics\, presence\, or coaching mastery. You’ll learn a simple\, coach-friendly framework for what to delegate to AI\, what to protect\, and what to never outsource\, then see real examples you can apply immediately: faster session prep\, sharper questions\, clearer theme-spotting\, stronger between-session practices\, and better follow-through that keeps the client in the driver’s seat. We’ll also cover the essentials of responsible use—confidentiality\, consent\, bias\, and data safety—so you can integrate AI in ways that strengthen trust and elevate outcomes. Leave with practical workflows\, ready-to-use prompts\, and a “first 7 days” action plan to start partnering with AI right away. \n  \nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN: Explain what “partnering with AI” means in a coaching context—AI as an assistant that supports coaching excellence\, not a substitute for the coach-client relationship. Apply a clear decision framework for what to delegate to AI\, what to safeguard\, and what to never outsource. Use AI to strengthen key moments in the coaching journey (intake\, session prep\, live coaching\, reflection\, between-session support\, progress reviews). Write and adapt high-quality prompts that produce useful results while maintaining client agency and avoiding leading or biased outputs. Implement ethical guardrails for confidentiality\, consent\, data handling\, bias\, transparency\, and appropriate boundaries. Create a personal “AI practice plan” (tools\, workflows\, policies\, and first steps) aligned to their coaching niche and comfort level. \n\nSPEAKER BIO:\nSusan Caesar is a strategist\, storyteller\, and systems leader working at the intersection of artificial intelligence\, human development\, and the living world. She serves as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at the International Coaching Federation (ICF)\, where she leads the responsible integration of AI across a global community of more than 60\,000 coaches. Susan guides ICF’s AI strategy for 2026 and beyond\, ensuring that emerging technologies strengthen human capability\, elevate professional standards\, and uphold the dignity\, agency\, and wellbeing of people worldwide. Susan is also the Founder of humain.org\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing life-centered leadership and innovation. Her work at Humain.org champions two core commitments: women leading with life and innovation that regenerates the natural world. Through applied research\, thought leadership\, and cross-sector partnerships spanning technology and conservation\, she is helping to redefine progress in service of both humanity and the planet. She hosts two podcast shows one for coaches and another for leaders featuring global voices who are reimagining how technology\, nature\, and society can flourish together. As a writer and speaker\, Susan explores ethical innovation\, regenerative futures\, and the cultural transformations needed to usher in a truly life-centered era. In addition\, Susan is the co-founder of the Lead With Purpose movement\, created with Donna Potts McKenzie\, which delivers leadership programs for community colleges (including Harper College) and future-of-work pathways for organizations navigating rapid transformation. Across her work in strategy\, storytelling\, and systems change\, Susan’s purpose is clear: to help people\, organizations\, and technologies lead with wisdom\, so that

SUMMARY:Ethics as a Lived Practice\, from Code to Conscious Choice
DESCRIPTION:Ethics in coaching is not something we think about only when something goes wrong. It is led by how we listen\, how we hold power\, how we relate to clients\, and how we make decisions when situations feel complex\, ambiguous\, or emotionally charged. Much of ethical practice unfolds quietly\, long before a clear dilemma ever presents itself. \nThis three-hour\, interactive ethics training invites coaches into a reflective and experiential exploration of ethics as a lived practice. Rather than focusing on memorizing standards or analyzing extreme cases\, the session centers on the internal conditions that shape ethical judgment\, awareness\, discernment\, responsibility\, and integrity over time. \nParticipants will engage in guided reflection\, dialogue\, and inquiry drawn from real coaching contexts. Together\, we will explore how ethical challenges often arise subtly\, how personal values and professional commitments intersect\, and how coaches navigate moments where there is no single clear answer. The focus remains on cultivating ethical self-leadership and professional maturity\, supporting coaches in staying grounded\, present\, and accountable in their work. \nThe International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics is integrated throughout the session as a living framework that supports ethical decision-making in practice. Rather than treating the Code as a checklist\, participants are invited to experience it as a guide that reflects the lived realities of professional coaching. \nThis training is designed for coaches who value thoughtful practice\, ongoing development\, and the integrity of the coaching profession. It offers a spacious\, engaging environment for reflection and conversation\, supporting deeper awareness of how ethics is embodied across coaching relationships\, professional boundaries\, and evolving contexts in today’s coaching landscape. \n\n\n\nLearning Objectives:\nParticipants will leave with a deeper appreciation of ethics as a lived\, moment-to-moment practice that is shaped by awareness\, presence\, and professional responsibility. Rather than experiencing ethics as something external or reactive\, coaches will have reflected on how ethical practice is continuously formed through how they listen\, relate\, and choose in real coaching conversations.\nThey will develop greater clarity around how ethical challenges arise in everyday coaching work\, often in subtle and nuanced ways rather than obvious dilemmas. This includes increased awareness of relational dynamics such as power\, influence\, boundaries\, and attachment\, and how these dynamics inform ethical judgment over time.\nParticipants will strengthen their capacity for ethical discernment when situations feel complex\, ambiguous\, or emotionally charged. Through reflection and dialogue\, coaches will explore how to pause\, inquire\, and make conscious choices that align with professional standards and personal integrity\, especially when there is no single clear answer. \nCoaches will also deepen their relationship with the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics\, experiencing it as a practical and supportive framework for ethical decision-making rather than a checklist to follow. This supports a more confident\, grounded engagement with the Code in real coaching contexts. \nFinally\, participants will leave with a strengthened sense of ethical self-leadership and professional maturity\, supporting their ability to sustain trust\, accountability\, and integrity across coaching relationships and evolving professional environments. \n3.0 Core Competency CCEs \nSpeaker: \nJille Bartolome is a Master Certified Coach\, master mentor\, and coach educator with three decades of experience supporting the professional development of coaches at every stage of mastery. She is known for her ability to help coaches refine judgment\, deepen presence\, and navigate complexity with clarity and integrity. \nJille is the Founder and Training Director of CoachPath Academy\, where she delivers coach training at all three levels\, provides mentor coaching\, and ethics education. She has served on faculty for CoachU\, ADDCA\, and the University of Texas at Dallas Executive Coaching Program and has assessed thousands of coaching sessions across multiple programs and credential levels. \nAs an assessor for the International Coaching Federation in both their credentialling and accreditation departments\, Jille brings a seasoned perspective to ethical practice as something lived in real coaching conversations\, not simply interpreted from a document. Her work is grounded\, rigorous\, and deeply respectful of the profession and those committed to mastering it.

SUMMARY:Agency Mindset: The Catalyst for Empowered Growth Post Trauma
DESCRIPTION:VIRTUAL ZOOM SESSION \nIn this interactive on-line workshop\, you’ll explore the link between agency and trauma\, including how the nervous system responds when we feel powerless and why this awareness is vital to sustainable growth. \n  \nAs coaches\, we know that mindset work can be transformative. But before we can guide clients toward growth\, we have to start with ourselves. At the root of every mindset—whether it’s growth\, money\, or a positive mindset—lies one essential truth: we always have a choice. This foundation is called the agency mindset. \n  \nThrough two experiential practices\, you’ll first discover your own agency: \n• Choice in Thought: A meditative practice to notice and accept your racing thoughts and choose which thoughts you engage with. • Choice in Action: A reflective exercise to revisit a moment when you felt stuck and uncover the choices that were hidden at the time. \nWe’ll close with a collaborative discussion on how these practices\, once experienced personally\, can enrich your coaching sessions and empower clients to reclaim their confidence\, make aligned decisions\, and open the door to other mindsets with greater ease. \n  \nYou’ll leave with renewed clarity\, practical tools for your own resilience\, and inspiration to adapt these approaches for your clients—building growth from a grounded foundation of agency. \n  \nSpeaker: \nAmanda Heck is a Trauma-Informed Whole Person Professional Certified Coach dedicated to helping high achievers move beyond chronic stress\, shift their internal “shoulds\,” and live with clarity\, confidence\, and choice. \nAmanda’s own journey of reclaiming agency began not with quick fixes\, but through deep listening to her inner wisdom\, releasing long-held shame\, and letting go of the expected path. Today she walks alongside her clients as a steady presence\, gently guiding them to reconnect with their values\, take aligned action\, and embrace all parts of themselves. As the founder of Light Matter Coaching\, LLC\, Amanda brings a blend of somatic tools\, psychological insight\, and heart-centered presence into her work. Her approach is relational\, grounded in trust\, and always oriented toward helping people rediscover their power\, make intentional choices\, and define success on their terms. \n  \nContinuing Education Credits: \n\n\n\nCore Competencies\n0.75\n\n\nResource Development*\n0.75\n\n\n\nSave the date now on your computer for 1/21/26 from 11:30-1:00. \nYou will receive a zoom link after you register (please note that this will not be automatic upon signing up\, but you will receive within a week or two).  Any questions\, reach out to info@icfsnv.org.
