1st Session= The WHY: Wednesday July 31, 2025 at 10:00 – 11:30 am PST
2nd Session= Feedback and Workshopping: Wednesday August 13th, 2025 at 10:00 am – 11:30 am PST

The problem with referrals is that they are unpredictable and challenging to scale and you cannot build a viable business on hope.
This talk unpacks the real reason you are not getting inbound enquiries. It is not about your coaching ability, it is not about your qualifications and it’s not about the market being too crowded. It’s because you’re trying to speak to everyone.
We start by naming the myths that hold coaches back from choosing a niche. You have probably heard them and you may believe them. “Niching is restrictive.” “There are no good niches left.” “It will make me sound like every other coach.” These beliefs feel rational, but they are precisely what keep you invisible. We will break down where they come from, why they persist, and why they are wrong.
Next, we reframe what a niche is.
A niche is not a box you squeeze yourself into, it’s a signal that cuts through the noise. I’ll show how niche clarity makes it easier to find your audience, understand their problems, and write in a way that makes them think, “that’s me!”
Throughout the session, you will hear real stories about coaches who resisted choosing a niche, and when they realized the difference it makes, they saw their businesses transform. These are not overnight success stories or slick marketing case studies. These are examples from coaches who were exactly where you are now, who made the leap and started generating consistent, professional-fee clients.
We then move into practical steps.
You will learn how to approach niche selection in a strategic, rather than emotional, manner. We look at how your background, knowledge, and understanding of specific sectors can give you insight into the language, needs, and problems of a target audience. That insight is your marketing superpower.
Finally, we look at what happens next. Once you define a niche, your visibility improves. Your marketing starts to resonate. You are no longer pushing coaching on people who do not understand it. You are showing up in the right places, with the right message, for people who are already looking for help.
At the end of Session One, I’ll give you some homework to apply what you’ve learned.
In Session Two, we’ll look at the niches and ‘ideal clients’ you have chosen, and I’ll give feedback to help you gain clarity and insight into the skill of professional client acquisition.
These sessions are not lightweight conversations because this is a business-critical topic. If you want clients to come to you, you need a clear message. To get a clear message, you need to know who you are speaking to. You will leave this session with clarity, direction, and a much stronger sense of what it takes to become a coach who is visible, relevant, and in demand.
CCE Units: Not available if only attending the second session.
