Lunch & Learn : Life Lesson’s As a Coach’s Guide

“Life Lessons as a Coach’s Guide” is a coach-specific Lunch and Learn that integrates Life Lessons by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross with the ICF Core Competencies.

Coaches will be led in a discussion by Ira Eichenfield, to explore themes like love, purpose, fear, and authenticity to deepen their presence, empathy, and ability to hold space for clients navigating transition or meaning-making. This training supports competencies such as Cultivating Trust and Safety, Maintaining Presence, and Evoking Awareness through reflective practice and real-world coaching applications. Participants will strengthen their capacity to listen beyond words, ask powerful questions, and support clients in aligning life lessons with purposeful action. Designed to deepen coaching mastery, this session invites coaches into a more grounded, human-centered practice.

This discussion is inspired by the book: Life Lessons: Two Experts on Death and Dying Teach Us About the Mysteries of Life and Living (An Inspiring Guide to Life) by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.  It is not a requirement to read the book to attend.
